Sounds funny, but this coach is also involved in training himself. I always have a race that I've registered for in the not too distant future. This is my motivation, goal and reward all wrapped up in hard work, determination and lots of fun.
Today is my official spring training start date. That simply means that I have printed a four month training calendar and taped it to my kitchen wall. It shows exactly what I'll do to prepare for my next race on April 26 - The Owens Corning Glass City Half Marathon in Toledo, Ohio. I'm shooting for a PR of 1:36 -1:38. Wow, that's going out on a limb....
Yeah, I stay active because it makes me feel good. Don't you want to feel good? I use many strategies to always keep moving and one of them is to challenge myself, both physically and mentally. Endurance running/racing requires that you master a little bit of each.
If you know deep down that you want a taste of what I feel give me a call, I can help you :>)
